Mechanical Engineering
Yuping Wang’s research interests explore fluid mechanics, heat transfer, renewable energy systems as well as plasma energy devices. Her work often looks at the intersection of these technologies. She has developed numerical models and simulations to better understand the behavior of liquid and heat in a variety of settings, such as the effect of fuel sloshing, how different plasma torch designs affect DC Plasma Torch operation and thermal analysis on different energy storage systems.
